Digital India is a flagship programme of the Government of India with a vision of transforming India into a digitally empowered society and knowledge economy. Under the Digital India program, the Department of Commerce has developed a new portal (NIRYAT) that deals with the import and export analysis of India. National Import-Export Records for yearly Analysis of Trade provide important real-time data to all stakeholders.
The portal covers more than 30 commodity groups exported to more than 200 countries in the world will be available. This was launched in June 2022 and also displays state/UT-wise export performance with respect to 31 commodity groups
In the coming time, information related to district-wise exports will also be available on this. This will also strengthen the efforts to develop the districts as important centres of exports. The NIRYAT portal also aimed to facilitate the further strengthening of India’s financial sector in line with the 3Ts of Trade, Tourism, and Technology.
