Stäubli Group appoints new Corporate Technology Officer

Stäubli, a global leader in industrial and mechatronic solutions, has appointed Aymeric Derville as its new Corporate Technology Officer (CTO) effective April 2, 2024. He will succeed Patrick Iltis, who will retire from the position.

In his new role, Aymeric Derville will be responsible for leading the company’s innovation and technology strategy in line with the Group’s current business strategy. He will be based at Stäubli Technology and Services site in Annecy-le-Vieux, France.

A proven leader in B2B high-tech industries

Aymeric Derville brings with him over 25 years of experience in B2B high-tech industries such as Aerospace, Automotive, Energy/Electrical Distribution and Lithium-Ion Batteries with an impressive track record in defining and executing global strategies, innovation technologies, research and development, start-up networking and various other technology programs.

Prior to joining Stäubli, Derville held various executive positions with Forsee Power, Schneider Electric, Valeo and Thales.

Contributing to Stäubli’s business strategy

Derville will oversee all initiatives on information technology, artificial intelligence, data governance and digitalization that contribute to the implementation of the company’s overarching business strategy. In this critical role he will foster and drive innovation, improve efficiency and maintain a long-term competitive advantage for Stäubli through technology and innovation.

Aymeric Derville is a French national, 51 years old, and speaks English, Spanish and German, besides his native French.
