LMW Stands Out with ‘Vastra Vibhushan’ Award for Advancing Spinning Technology in India at TEXPROCIL’s 70th Jubilee Celebration.
In appreciation of LMW’s outstanding contribution to the development of the spinning industry in India, The Cotton Textiles Export Promotion Council (TEXPROCIL) presented the firm with the coveted “Vastra Vibhushan” Technology Award. The award was given out on the evening of Monday, October 28, 2024, at the Grand Ballroom of the Hotel JW Marriott in Mumbai, as part of TEXPROCIL’s 70th Jubilee festivities. In addition to celebrating the innovation and quality throughout the industry, this historic event honored TEXPROCIL’s seven decades of crucial contribution to the nation’s thriving cotton textiles sector. In front of notable dignitaries, including Smt. Roop Rashi, Textile Commissioner, who was the Guest of Honor, the evening’s main guest, H.E. Shri C.P. Radhakrishnan, Hon’ble Governor of Maharashtra, gave the prizes. In particular, the “Vastra Vibhushan” award recognized LMW’s revolutionary developments in spinning technology, establishing the business as a pioneer in propelling the expansion and modernization of India’s textile sector.
The principal guest proudly accepted the award on behalf of LMW from Mr. Rajasekaran S, Senior Vice President of R&D and Sales (Domestic). Being the only company in its category to receive this distinction, LMW stands out for its dedication to technological development and its contribution to bolstering India’s standing in the world textile industry.
