Mango, one of Europe’s most global fashion brands, presents its first proposal for autumn/winter with the latest instalment of its Selection collection, this time made up of all kinds of garments designed for the return to a vibrant city that offers an infinite number of plans in addition to work.
More than just for a 9am to 5pm office schedule, the collection offers outfits designed for a 24/7 world. A slip dress can be worn to run errands by toning it down or toning it up for a dinner party. Impeccable trousers can be worn to the office or for a stroll and a coffee break, just by changing the shoes. It’s not about the time of day, it’s about wearing clothes that exude confidence whatever is on the agenda.
Starring model Mica Argañaraz on the streets of London, the campaign also featured Danish stylist Alex Carl, who helped create the outfits for a contemporary woman who constantly combines masculine and feminine references.
This new proposal for the return to city life is structured around versatile garments with personality to create special outfits that are also easy to wear. The fabrics – from pure wool to cashmere, silk or leather – are the true protagonists and are responsible for giving the garments a luxurious feel.
Tailoring remains central to the collection, which explores an inside-outside dialogue by exposing parts that are not normally visible, such as linings and turn-ups. Outerwear, which becomes the most desirable garment in each Selection edition, is presented in wrap-around cocoon silhouettes in fur-effect or wool – with a long green fur-effect coat taking centre stage – or in more structured fits taken in at the waist.
The rest of the proposal includes a good selection of shirts, with special details such as long bows to play with; dresses, ranging from the most delicate lingerie to others with mini-cuts, without forgetting a spectacular strapless dress with great volume in the skirt; and trousers, from perfect denim to capri in leather or fuseau, which can be used to create outfits based on layering. Accessories complete the collection with various footwear proposals, including high boots, heeled moccasins and pointed-toe mules, as well as bags for any time of the day.
