Vipul Organics Limited, a leading specialty chemicals company, today announced the commencement of commercial production at its greenfield facility in Sayakha, Gujarat. The Company marked the occasion with a formal Muhurat ceremony, signalling the transition of its newest manufacturing hub from construction to commercial operations. As part of this transition, Vipul Organics is consolidating its pigment manufacturing from the Tarapur facility in Maharashtra into the Sayakha hub, as part of a broader footprint-rationalisation exercise.

With this milestone, the Company is significantly strengthening its pigment manufacturing capacities with the infrastructure and capabilities in place to progressively scale up further in line with market demand. The plant has been designed with the potential to support over 3,600 MT of annual pigment production, providing substantial headroom for future growth. The Sayakha facility will begin with the production of ~ 1800 MT of pigments in the initial phase.

The Sayakha facility is set up on an industrial plot of 24,633.11 square meters acquired from the Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC), within Gujarat’s Petroleum, Chemicals and Petrochemicals Investment Region (PCPIR). Strategically located on the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor, close to the proposed Dedicated Freight Corridor and adjacent to Dahej Port, the facility is uniquely positioned to strengthen the Company’s reach across both domestic and export markets.

The Sayakha site is being developed as a consolidated manufacturing base for the Company. Alongside pigment powder, it also hosts the membrane manufacturing operations of the Company’s unit, AdiMem Technologies, which commenced commercial sales of Reverse Osmosis (RO) and Ultrafiltration (UF) membranes earlier this year.

“The commencement of production at Sayakha is a defining milestone in Vipul Organics’ growth journey. This facility has been built to expand our pigment powder capacity, bring our membrane and solvent dyes capabilities under one roof, and give us a strategically located, port-adjacent base from which to serve our customers within the country and across the world. As production stabilises over the coming quarters, we expect Sayakha to be a meaningful contributor to both our capacity and our revenue diversification, and we remain confident of sustaining the growth momentum we built through FY 2025-26 as we scale up this facility through FY 2026-27,” said Mr. Vipul P. Shah, Managing Director, Vipul Organics Limited.

The commissioning of Sayakha comes as Vipul Organics continues to broaden its product portfolio and global footprint, from its recent exclusive European distribution partnership with Omya Group for its pigment ranges, to the commercial launch of its indigenously developed membrane solutions under AdiMem Technologies. With Sayakha now operational, the Company is well placed to support its expanding pigments, dyes and membrane businesses from a modern, integrated manufacturing base on India’s western coast.
