Mangoone of Europe’s most international fashion groups, opened its Mango Summer Club in Menorca for one night only to present its new Woman collection for this summer, as well as the special SIMONMILLERxMANGO capsule collection the firm has developed alongside the American brand from Los Angeles. The long-awaited launch of the Mango summer collections, which every year is one of the firm’s most iconic and recognisable moments, took place in Pedreres de s’Hostal, an impressive sandstone quarry in the heart of Menorca.

The Mango Summer Club, open for one night to celebrate the approach of the summer, brought together the community of Mango Girls – Blanca Miró, Nuria Val, Lucy Williams, Chufy, Sophia Roe, Monikh Dale, Claire Rose, Alyssa Coscarelli, Lizzy Hadfield, Gemma Galán, Clara Sans, Rita Montezuma – and Mango Men – Joan Palà, Marc Forné, Pol Monen, Miguel Carrizo, Paolo Busti, Andrea Faccio, Umberto Manca, and friends of the brand such as Alicia Medina, Anna Castillo, Greta Fernández, Mireia Oriol or Carlos Cuevas – and press from around the world. The CEO and Creative Director of SIMONMILLER, Chelsea Hansford, did not want to miss the celebration and the reaction of the guests when they saw its capsule collection for Mango for the first time.

All of them enjoyed a magical event which, as well as the display of the collections in the incredible labyrinth of Las Pedreres, included a Menorcan dinner served at the mythical Sa Llagosta restaurant on tables dressed with ceramics of the Menorcan artisan Blanca Madruga. At the dinner under the stars was followed by a musical performance by the singer Maria Arnal before a set given by the DJ Pascal Moscheni, which kept the energy going until early in the morning.

This is how Mango celebrated one of the most long-awaited moments of the year, summer in the Mediterranean, bringing together its nearest and dearest to enjoy the countless plans the warmer months offer.

Fashion and design were the key protagonists of the event, highlighting the importance of these two elements for Mango, a brand with a global vision and a strategy based on constant innovation and the search for sustainability.

New Summer 2023 collection

Designed for the long hot days and nights of summer in the city, the Mango summer collection is characterised for its vibrant colours and prints inspired by Mediterranean style.

The proposal is full of looks that are ideal for the plans and occasions that summer presents. Tropical fluoride jumpsuits with XXL floral or ethnic prints, total looks with transparencies, crochet sets, tailored jackets and wideleg jeans take centre stage in an elegant and modern collection full of textures, forms and vibrant and striking colours, such as blue, yellow, orange and green.

SIMONMILLERxMANGO

The collection comprises limited-edition garments for a colourful, youthful and fun wardrobe which, following the fundamental principles of SIMONMILLER, the Los Angeles firm, has been designed with a playful approach to classic luxury.  It features carefree looks in which dresses and outfits with vibrant stripes or prints predominate.
