The 8th edition of the Nonwoven Tech Asia by Radeecal Communications kickstarted on 23 – 25 September at the Pragati Maidan in Delhi.

The show provides a unique opportunity for all the stakeholders to discuss the textile, Hygiene & Sanitary, Filtration, Protective agriculture, and packaging ecosystem and emerging trends in these sectors. 

The show brings together the country’s leading nonwoven trade stakeholders from all over the world to share information and knowledge, and to understand the market dynamics – existing future.

In this year’s edition, we saw participation from more than 100 brands, 3 participating countries more than 5 visiter countries, and 10500+ visitors from across the industry. It reaffirms the need and focus of Nonwoven Tech Asia 2022 as an industry event to boost and facilitate the textile, hygiene & sanitary, filtration, protective agriculture, and packaging sectors.

Addressing the opportunities in this sectorAs per ibef.org research, “The textile industry is poised for exponential growth, currently growing at a CAGR of 10%, from 2019-20 with a projected output of US $190 billion by 2025-26. This high-growth and the high-profit sector has emerged due to its immense potential for value addition, particularly within the textile industry. The textile industry has around 4.5 crore employed workers including 35.22 lakh handloom workers across the country. India is the largest cotton producer in the world Estimated production stood at 362.18 lakh bales during cotton season 2021-22. Domestic consumption for the 2021-22 cotton season is estimated to be at 338 lakh bales.
