NanoTextile will be offering online internships to provide a more accessible, flexible and environmentally friendly alternative to international graduates.
The Virtual International Internship Program (VIIP) will focus on the technical and textile industry’s international supply chain.
Its first-tier opening will focus on communication and data analysis through research and reporting in the sustainability textile supply chain.
“The integration and transparency in textile making and fast fashion have become the topic heavily debated. Introducing transparency into the supply chains of the textile industry allows factories, manufacturers, and brands to take responsibility and practice openly sharing information about how, where, and by whom a textile product was made,” NanoTextile said.
“Media communication, on another hand, provides a content development platform to give high readership a great awareness of how consumers could partake in achieving a circular economy in the textile industry one day,” NanoTextile added.
Online internships are available year-round. Students can also opt for part-time, full time and long-term internships.
Amongst the perks students can get from interning at NanoTextile include working on real projects with experienced professionals and having a 100% customizable schedule developed in collaboration with their faculty or school’s internship advisor and coordinator.
Interns also receive expert guidance, personalized online orientation and coaching from their supervisor, coordinator, and internship manager, and a remote internship guideline with precise to-do lists.
Upon completion of the internship, students will also receive an international reference letter from NanoTextile.
