From June 4th to 6th, 2023, the OutDoor by ISPO offers a three-day outdoor experience in the MOC Event and Order Center in Munich. Sympatex is involved in the Sustainability Hub and in the Speakers Corner in Atrium 3.
Attitude and responsibility are decisive criteria for Sympatex. The brand therefore supports the Outdoor by ISPO trade fair format. As the key to more cooperation, the company offers insights into the current topics of digitization, the value chain and recyclability in the Sustainability Hub and in the Speakers Corner (Monday, June 5th, 2023 / 1:20 p.m. – 1:50 p.m. and 2:40 p.m. – 3:10 p.m ).
“As an ingredient brand, Sympatex is the perfect matchmaker, cooperation and knowledge transfer partner. It will be exciting to see at Outdoor by ISPO where Sympatex can offer further support in terms of trust in the value chain – digitization plus sustainability is the key for further processes: measuring the true costs at all levels. We are very excited to see who will translate this into concrete measures for chemical management, carbon footprint calculation and dyeing processes,” says Kim Scholze CSMO Sympatex.
Sympatex’s collaborative attitude is also evident in the Speaker’s Corner at Outdoor by ISPO (MOC Munich, Atrium 3). On Monday, June 5th, 2023 from 2:40 p.m. to 3:10 p.m., Kim Scholze, CSMO Sympatex and Michael Spitzbarth, founder and CEO of bleed clothing, will talk about the current situation of bleed and the future of sustainable fashion. The discussion about the Sympathy-Lab will be recorded and made accessible to everyone.
“I’m sure that at some point things will get out of the valley and go in the right direction. The sustainable topic is the only sustainable one and that is why it is so important that we as brands, retailers and productions, as a green infrastructure, survive this crisis. We want to create awareness for this,” says Michael Spitzbarth, founder and CEO of bleed clothing.
In a second lecture, Sympatex and Accelerating Circularity Europe (ACPE) will share the stage (Monday, 1:20 p.m. – 1:50 p.m.).
“The urgency of a PFAS ban has finally arrived. This is reflected in the industry-wide movement at brand, association and EU level. Now it is time to take the next decisive step: the recyclability of products. At Sympatex, we have been promoting recyclability since 2016. Together with Accelerating Circularity Europe (ACPE), we will show which infrastructure for textile collection systems is currently possible and which steps we still have to take together,” says Dr. Ruediger Fox, CEO of Sympatex.
“Together with our project partners in the USA and Europe, we are driving the development of new circular value chains and business models to convert used textiles into mainstream raw materials.”, Petra Schwaiger, Accelerating Circularity Europe.
The most important event of the European outdoor industry will be presented to trade visitors from June 4th to 6th, 2023 in a total of four halls, showrooms and atriums as well as on the entire outdoor area of the Motorworld opposite.
All Sympatex partners will receive guest tickets for Outdoor by ISPO 2023 via firstname.lastname@example.org .
