The Italian technology company announced Monday the acquisition of Flainox, a dyeing machinery manufacturer in Quaregna Cerreto, Italy. The acquisition enhances Tonello’s position in the dyeing industry, broadening its range of specialized solutions to better address the demands of an ever-changing market. Financial details of the sale were not disclosed.
The companies share a vision for efficient and sustainable technologies and “Made in Italy” manufacturing.
“Integrating Flainox means strengthening our market presence,” said Alice Tonello, R&D and marketing director. “This step allows us to consolidate our leadership by expanding our product range and ensuring greater global reach.”
With this acquisition, the Tonello group reaffirms its commitment to innovating finishing machinery, with a clear focus on investing in sustainable processes. The company’s industry-leading technologies include ozone, laser, and Wake, a 100-percent organic dyeing system.
Founded in 1968, Flainox produces rotary machines and yarn dyeing machines. The company specializes in constructing efficient plants with a lower environmental impact, suitable for the dyeing of garments, seamless, hosiery, socks, and yarns. Flainox’s range of green machinery utilizes ultrasound technologies to reduce carbon emissions and uses reduced amounts of water and chemicals.
“This acquisition is a pivotal step in our growth journey,” said Carlo Bonetti, president of Tonello. “Partnering with Flainox allows us to bring a strong, innovative group to the global market, while staying deeply connected to tradition and our roots.”
