Exemplifying the Group’s dedication to embracing sustainable materials, currently, over 90% of Crystal factories have received sustainable material certifications such as the Global Recycled Standard (GRS) and Organic Content Standard (OCS), offering an extensive array of recognised sustainable options tailored for different customers. Meanwhile, at our vertically integrated fabric mill in Vietnam, around 55% of the raw materials were certified with GRS or Recycled Claim Standard (RCS) certification. Through joining the membership of Textile Exchange, Crystal International is determined to expand the adoption of preferred sustainable alternatives to minimise environmental impact, alongside over 800 other Textile Exchange members who share similar vision.

Further to the latest CirClimate innovative collection which utilises biodegradable, climate-adaptive fabric from sustainable wood pulp and recycled waste, the Group continues to explore innovative fibre solutions aligned with Textile Exchange’s Preferred Fiber & Materials Matrix. As a part of the circularity vision, Crystal International is leading efforts on waste management. Earlier this month, the Group launched the Corporate Waste Management System Framework, to systemise waste management system across factories, unleash benefits of waste, and align with evolving customer expectations on waste reduction and recycling. In addition, 5 of the Group’s factories piloted sharing textile waste data on Reverse Resources platform for enhancing traceability and transparency, while fostering textile-to-textile recycling.
