The Asia Nonwovens Technology Expo (ANTEX Asia 2025) officially opens today at the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC), Thailand, bringing together professionals from across the nonwovens industry for three days of learning and collaboration. Running through 31 October 2025, the Expo connects regional and international companies across materials, machinery and applications to exchange knowledge, explore new market opportunities, and advance the sector’s development in Southeast Asia.
The Expo has received pre-registrations from 44 countries and regions, with one-third coming from outside Thailand. The pre-registered visitors represent a broad spectrum of industries, with the majority from the nonwovens, automotive, healthcare, hygiene & personal care, and packaging sectors. This diversity reflects the growing interest in nonwoven technologies and their expanding applications across multiple manufacturing fields.

Conference at the Core: Global Insights and Cross-Industry Takeaways
At the heart of the show is the two-day ANTEX Asia Nonwovens Conference 2025, which brings together leading experts from Asia, Europe, and North America to share perspectives that blend global outlook with regional relevance. The program delivers strategic knowledge and practical guidance to help businesses adapt to new market realities, strengthen competitiveness, and accelerate sustainable growth.
Day 1 – Global & Regional Market Outlook and Sustainability in Applications
Day 1 opens with a keynote by Mr. Niwat Lersnimtthum of the Thai Nonwovens Fabrics Industry Trade Association (TNFA) and Vice Chairman & Senior Director of the Board, Tietex Asia Ltd., who outlines investment trends and growth opportunities shaping the global and Asian nonwovens markets. Discussions that follow address the industry’s shift from cost-driven to performance-oriented models and explore applications and demand drivers in key Asian markets, highlighting expanding uses in hygiene, healthcare, and industrial products.
The afternoon turns to Sustainability in Applications, where Spunfab Non Woven presents practical examples of circular packaging and eco-design in action.
Day 2 centers on global collaboration and forward strategies for the industry. The morning begins with a joint presentation by Murat Dogru from the European Disposables and Nonwovens Association (EDANA) and Tony Fragnito from the Association of the Nonwoven Fabrics Industry (INDA), who will share exclusive insights and industry updates from Europe and North America, offering attendees a rare global perspective on market outlook and sustainability advancement.
This will be followed by a high-level panel discussion, “From Local Needs to Global Solutions: Regional Association Strategies for Market Development,” moderated by Narula Nonwoven Co., Ltd and joined by leaders from EDANA, INDA, Thailand Textile Institute (THTI), Hong Kong Nonwovens Association (HKNA), and Business Co-ordination House (BCH India). The discussion explores how regional cooperation and knowledge sharing accelerate innovation, investment, and growth across Asia.
In the afternoon, sessions on automotive nonwovens, corporate sustainability, and bio-based circular materials translate high-level insights into practical direction — demonstrating how responsible manufacturing and material innovation can together support long-term industry growth.
Together, the two-day conference transforms ANTEX Asia into a strategic forum for learning, dialogue, and industry alignment, offering visitors concrete knowledge and new partnerships to strengthen their role in the evolving nonwovens landscape.
Industry Networking Sessions Foster Connection and Collaboration
To strengthen industry engagement, networking sessions will be held on Day 1 and Day 2 (3:45 – 5:00 p.m.) within the exhibition hall. These relaxed yet focused gatherings offer exhibitors, visitors, and speakers a setting to exchange ideas and forge new partnerships. Meanwhile, throughout the show, the ANTEX Asia Business Matching Program will also facilitate one-on-one meetings between visitors and suppliers, helping participants establish direct contacts and explore practical cooperation opportunities.
“ANTEX Asia 2025 is more than an exhibition — it’s a platform for collaboration and growth,” said Grace Mak, Founder of MGT Expo Planning, one of the three organizers of ANTEX Asia. “By bringing together key associations, suppliers, buyers and thought leaders under one roof, we aim to equip industry professionals with valuable insights, meaningful contacts, and new business opportunities that will shape the next chapter of nonwovens in Asia,” Mak added.
