Building on the proven performance of the Vortex M6 and Vortex Plus, the Vortex Elite expands laboratory capabilities with high-precision, automatic dispensing of multiple liquid components, delivering unmatched accuracy, repeatability, and efficiency in textile wash testing.
The Vortex Elite features automatic, high-precision dispensing of:
- Liquid detergent
- General additives such as fabric softener or bleach
- Special additives, including water treatment solutions
This enhanced flexibility allows laboratories to more accurately simulate real-world laundering conditions across a wide range of apparel and textile products, perfect for evaluating detergents or other garment care products in washing as the Vortex Elite ensures consistent chemical dosing throughout extended test programs.
The Vortex Elite represents a noted upgrade from the Vortex Plus, which introduced continuous operation by automatically dispensing up to 2 liters of liquid detergent over the course of up to 50 repeated wash cycles without operator intervention. The Vortex Elite advances this capability by enabling programmable, precision dispensing of multiple additives, eliminating manual intervention while improving dosing accuracy and repeatability.
As with all Vortex series instruments, the Vortex Elite provides full programmability of wash parameters, including Bath Temperature, Water Volume, Agitation (Speed & Time), Spin (Speed & Time), and Rinse Volume. The intuitive, multi-language (English, Spanish, and Chinese) full-color touchscreen controller allows users to design and manage custom cycles up to 100 hours in duration.
Engineered specifically for laboratory use, the Vortex series is the first commercial-grade top-loading washing instruments purpose-built to meet global textile testing standards. The Vortex Elite meets AATCC wash testing requirements and can be calibrated to ISO 17025 standards.
