YKK Corporation has developed LUXFLATTM 1 zipper, a metal zipper for bags, and plans to launch it globally in November.
The LUXFLAT zipper features an innovative element shape and a specially developed tape that reduce the sliding resistance commonly found in standard metal zippers.
By creating a flatter element surface, sliding resistance has been reduced by over 60%2 compared with standard metal zippers. Furthermore, the sleek, flat appearance of the zipper chain delivers a premium feel and a smoother touch. LUXFLATTM contributes to further enhancing the quality of premium leather bags.
