We are happy to inform you that The Cotton Textiles Export Promotion Council (TEXPROCIL), in association with Exim Institute and with the support of the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, has launched the Advanced Certificate Programme in International Trade (ACPIT). The programme was formally launched by the Hon’ble Union Finance Minister, Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman, during the TEXPROCIL Export Awards Function held on 25th May 2026 in Mumbai.
The ACPIT has been designed as a comprehensive capacity-building initiative aligned with the Government of India’s Export Promotion Mission (EPM) and the provisions of Para 1.30 of the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP), which encourages Status Holders to actively contribute towards mentoring and training in international trade.
The programme aims to develop a pool of professionally trained manpower equipped with practical knowledge and contemporary understanding of international trade operations, export documentation, logistics, compliance, finance, customs procedures, and export management.

- Comprehensive 8-Module Curriculum covering international trade, export procedures, banking and finance, logistics, customs clearance, foreign trade policy, e-commerce and sustainability.
- More than 40 hours of industry-oriented learning with expert faculty and practical case-study-based training.
- Executive-friendly schedule conducted on Fridays and Saturdays to suit working professionals.
- Practical assignments, workshops, and project-based learning for immediate industry application.
- Supports Status Holder Export Houses in fulfilling their skilling and mentorship obligations under FTP Para 1.30.
