Sourcery today announced they are seeking additional independent verifiers, certification bodies, and assurance firms with broad networks of highly skilled and proficient auditors, verifiers, and qualified laboratories as demand for Assurance Services grows among Direct-to-Grower Partners. Through this Request for Proposal (RFP), Seeking Qualified Direct-to-Grower Assurance Partners, Sourcery invites eligible organizations to register and pre-qualify by Monday, 10 July 2023, for participation in a short survey, interview, and assessment process – which is the first step to becoming a licensed Assurance Partner.
Sourcery is seeking the following individuals or firms to become licensed Assurance
Partners to perform third-party primary data collection, verification, sample collection,
and product testing:
- Independent auditors/verifiers (firms/entities with three or fewer owners/employees)
- Certification bodies and audit service providers (min three employees)
- Third-party assurance and verification service providers (non-certification bodies)
- Fibre, yarn, and fabric testing laboratories (Uster HVI, Uster 6, qPCR, Martindale,
etc.)
Once approved and onboarded, licensed Direct-to-Grower Partners may select at their discretion to have Assurance Services (sample collection, laboratory testing, data collection, and verification) performed by Assurance Partners under the Direct- to-Grower programme to ensure end-to-end quality, integrity, and impact from grower to consumer.

Next steps
Selected and pre-qualified RFP respondents will be asked to sign a Mutual Non-Disclosure Agreement (MDNA) to participate in an online survey followed by a video conference call interview covering a series of questions across the nine (9) Sourcery Assurance Protocols.
The surveys and interviews are anticipated to be completed by Friday, 31 August 2023.
