OMAX COTSPIN Pvt. Ltd., one of the fastest-growing textile companies renowned for its superior quality of Organic, BCI, Fairtrade, and Recycled cotton yarn, has joined Sourcery’s Direct-to-Grower Programme that connects brands, manufacturers, and growers who are committed to commercial and environmental excellence.
Through collaborative engagement and facilitation with all Direct-to-Grower Partners, Sourcery identifies and mitigates shared material and performance risks and cost inefficiencies to uncover opportunities that balance commercial and sustainability objectives. By joining this programme, OMAX seeks to bridge the gap upstream and promote end-to-end traceability from fibre to finished goods.
“Through this collaboration, we aim to bring visibility and connectivity downstream and upstream with commercial excellence and traceability of any cotton fibre, i.e. Organic, Regenerative, and Better Cotton programs”, said Jayesh H. Patel, Managing Director of OMAX COTSPIN Pvt. Ltd. “We aim to incentivize growers for their hard work with this partnership with Sourcery under the Direct-to-Grower Programme.”
Direct-to-Grower translates business objectives into clear commercial benefits and sustainable impact at scale. This drives enhanced visibility, process improvement, and efficiency by turning ambition into action using principles of lean manufacturing to more effectively align demand with supply at every stage of production from growers to consumers.
With OMAX taking the lead as a key supplier for cotton yarns in the Direct-to-Grower Programme, this partnership will extend to other brands and manufacturers in India and globally to establish direct sourcing relationships for cotton yarn and enable full traceability and transparency up and downstream. Sourcery has already established a sourcing partnership between OMAX and German sustainability champion, Armedangels, who are working together under the Direct-to-Grower Programme to bring full visibility along Armedangels’ supply chain.
“Sourcery is excited to have OMAX on board as a key supply chain partner in our Direct-to-Grower Programme,” stated Imran Asghar, Managing Director South Asia and Co-Founder of Sourcery. “OMAX is already leading the way through its superior quality of cotton and blend yarns… With their support, we will be able to commercialize sustainability and bring much-needed trust among supply chain stakeholders, as we believe trust is a prerequisite for transparency and traceability.”
Moreover, the long-term goal is to onboard OMAX’s farm program into the Direct-to-Grower Programme to supply fully traceable and high-quality cotton yarn from India to other Direct-to-Grower Partners and value chain actors who share Sourcery’s vision of transforming trade for good.
